You are a domestic applicant if you are:
- an Australian or New Zealand citizen
- a permanent resident of Australia
- a holder of an Australian permanent resident humanitarian visa
- a holder of an Australian permanent resident humanitarian visa
- a dual citizen with citizenship of Australian or New Zealand
All other applicants are considered international applicants.

You are considered a non-exempt applicant if you are:
- A new international student commencing your first degree with the University of Sydney.
- A previous University of Sydney student who was last enrolled more than 12 months prior to the commencement date of the new degree.
The number of places in this degree are limited, we cannot guarantee an offer.
If the semester is not available in the drop-down list below, it means the intake for that semester is either not available or closed.
International applicants are required to submit a non-refundable Application Processing Fee (APF) payment of $AUD150. Please note that submitting this fee does not guarantee an offer. You may also check if you are eligible for an APF fee waiver.

You are considered an exempt applicant if you are:
- A current student at the University of Sydney
- A previous University of Sydney student who was enrolled within the last 12-months from the commencement date of the new degree
- A non-student visa holder
- An Australian Government sponsored scholar and visa holder
- A Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade or Defence-sponsored student
- A higher degree by research student (e.g., Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or master's by research)
- A student from the Pacific and Timor-Leste
- A foreign government scholarship holder
- A non-Award study student
- Applying to study distance education
